Hey Y'all (that felt good!)
Wed.
A long day! In the morning the subway line that we were riding stopped running so we were late to French class. French same old same old with the repetition of phrases. After class we wondered Paris for hours! I was so tired I thought my feet would give out! The only really not worthy event was the Seine cruise we went on with ISA. We had a lot of fun looked at all the sites from the water this time and made some acquaintances into friends by planning a trip to the Seine for lunch one day. I will post pictures of this night next.
Thurs.
Today! We went to the Musee de Orsay. Which houses Van Gogh, Monet, Renoir, Rodin, and many other famous works. We waited hours to get into the museum in the cold because the cashiers were on strike. Ridiculous is what I have to say! Any who I will post pictures of it so you can see it through our eyes.
Travis:
At dinner the family quizzes us. "Do you know about the hostage situation in Columbia?" <--- example. Then we were told that we didn't know anything because Bush doesn't let us. Another night we were asked what candidate we preferred. They love Barak and hate McCain. They think McCain too old. They had never heard any of the drama associated with Barak though. They never heard about the pastor issues and such. I think they only here a skewed view so they might not be the best to make an opinion on our politics. Kali and I have decided that they are ignorant. They think they know everything about what an American is and what they may think but they have no true idea. They don't change their opinion even if you feel that you warranted a change in it.
Kali’s Dad:
Thank you for lunch today! We took up your offer and had lunch at Indiana’s, it was great! We had nachos, fajitas and enchiladas. I had to roll Kali and myself out of the place.
Everyone:

Call you how? does your cellphone work over there? Wouldn't that be, expensive?
Also on the politics stuff... I've been experiencing backlash recently discussing Israeli politics with Alex and company, so I think that the overseas information gap is rather large on all sides.
Also you know what sucks about this blogging site? You can't post a comment RIGHT UNDERNEATH your last entry... I forgot what I was going to say for a large part of this message and had to go back and forth to check (which I ended up not doing this time).
I'm glad you went to the Musee de Orsay, that was one of Kevin's and my favorites when we visited Paris. It's so funny the cashiers were on strike- a very authentic European experience. When Kevin and I were in London the Tube went on strike, so the entire city was shut down pretty much. It was quite an adventure trying to get around! Love you and miss you, Kali.
